It's Reggie here, and I'm excited to share an announcement regarding the future of the Nintendo company.
We are pleased to announce that the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 will be the first Nintendo console to feature zero original entries to the popular Mario video game series,
including both main series and spinoff titles.
Furthermore, existing Nintendo Switch software featuring the Mario character will not be playable on the Nintendo Switch 2.
Nintendo will henceforeth be a Mario-free company.

In related news, we would like to announce that all rights to the Super Mario brand have been sold to The Microsoft Xbox company.
Look forward to seeing the plucky red plumber in upcoming Halo games!
